Took a little field trip out to the waterway with the goal of catching the sunset but the entire journey ended up going south with dark clouds chasing the light rays away and rain storms drowning everything out. And as the rain continued to fall, I felt my spirits go down as well.

Honestly wasn't expecting much from the film I shot but was pleasantly surprised at how some of the pictures turned out. The scenic surroundings accompanied with a slight tinge of gloom resulted in the shots above and honestly I find them absolutely amazing. It most definitely wasn't the kind of beauty I was going for when I was visualizing this photo journal but they are beautiful nonetheless.

I guess I learnt an important lesson today, that there's always beauty to be found in every situation.
