Hello loves <3 I'm back!

 I apologize immensely for the lack of updates. I've been pretty busy of late, was in Philippines for 2 weeks and days after I got back I was off to another adventure on an offshore island. Been away from technology and my lovely wardrobe for way too long and I'm feeling so deprived from everything around me. It's weird how 3 weeks away from home can make everything seem so foreign to me.

As part of my routine to ease back into my life here in Singapore, I decided to raid my wardrobe for a piece to wear today and decided on this lovely white number which I got for ASOS a while back :) As much as I love my LBD's, the trusty go-to pieces when you need something to wear but have no idea what, a white dress always makes you stand out from the crowd. Want to be different? Why not consider a LWD instead of the usual LBD? 

I love how this dress makes me look so ethereal and fairylike (deep down inside I think I might have a secret obsession with pieces that make me look this way) and the intricate lace details are perfect for the spring time :)

Chinese New Year, a time of family and celebration.

This time of the year is something that is so precious to me because it's the time of the year where everyone sets aside their hectic schedules to make time to come together. And it's always a joy to see my relatives gather as one, the smiles and the laughter, the whole place will be filled with so much hoy and laughter that it is such a heart-warming sight. Being able to see my dearest nephews and nieces and play with them, catching up with my cousins and reminiscing our childhood days or having intellectual conversations with my aunts and uncles are all memories that I will remember for the rest of my life. 

Indeed no amount of red packets and sinful chinese new year goodies can make up for this precious time spent with family <3

Like most of the girls out there, I love dressing myself up. There's just something so therapeutic about spending hours wafting through the pieces in your wardrobe, the process of mixing and matching, styling them to reflect how you're feeling that day become and to see a finished look come together at the end of it all. It honestly is a form of therapy for me; on those days when I just need to get away from it all, I turn to my wardrobe and get so wonderfully lost in it. My friends call my wardrobe "Narnia" because of how many clothes it contains but I call it "Narnia" because it has the ability to sweep me off my feet and bring me to mystical land where all my worries are left behind.

Confession #241212: I have such a huge obsession with high-low dresses and skirts

 When I chanced upon this piece online I fell in love with it immediately. I know the high-low trend has been going around for quite a bit now and for some weird reason, I just can't seem to get enough of it. There's just something about how these high-low pieces make you look so ethereal and fairylike when you're walking in them that makes me fall for them every time. And this piece is in such a gorgeous shade of red (drools). This is such a perfect outfit for this Christmas season and I am absolutely in love with it!
