Chinese New Year, a time of family and celebration.

This time of the year is something that is so precious to me because it's the time of the year where everyone sets aside their hectic schedules to make time to come together. And it's always a joy to see my relatives gather as one, the smiles and the laughter, the whole place will be filled with so much hoy and laughter that it is such a heart-warming sight. Being able to see my dearest nephews and nieces and play with them, catching up with my cousins and reminiscing our childhood days or having intellectual conversations with my aunts and uncles are all memories that I will remember for the rest of my life. 

Indeed no amount of red packets and sinful chinese new year goodies can make up for this precious time spent with family <3 

Presenting to you my wardrobe selections for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations! So happy to see my clothing rack so full of pretty dresses (yes all dresses) in all these different gorgeous shades and designs, it's practically my inspiration rack now because I become so inspired when I look at it. I have to admit that I did go a tad bit overboard in shopping for CNY this year though, however in my defense most of these pieces were items that were purchased a while back but haven't been worn yet as they were swallowed up by my wardrobe. But a girl deserves to pamper herself once in a while (hopefully this makes me feel less guilty about spending so much), but I solemnly promise to be on a buying ban till the end of March!

On a random note, being able to take a day off for myself is such a blessing. Experimenting with my camera and taking random snaps, clearing out stuff from the past year, reorganizing/redecorating my room to make it look like my dream princess room and simply being able to do whatever I want is really one of the best feelings ever and I really wish that I could do this more often. I really do need to start learning how to enjoy the little snippets of life. A little preview of my princess room for you to end this post! :)

 Hello! Sorry for the lack of posts, life has been so hectic for me recently and I have been swarmed with countless projects and I'm finally back and am excited for the things that I have planned for this space! So do stay tuned for what's to come :)

AND I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW BECAUSE ALL THE CLOTHES I ORDERED HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED, CAN'T WAIT TO STYLE THEM FOR YOU GUYS <3 

And I have come to realize that I have absolutely no skill in arranging clothes (as you can see above)
